When I say choosing the unconventional, I actually mean it! In 2023, I left my hard-earned career as the assistant principal of an elementary school to reclaim my identity, creativity, and time. My husband and I sold EVERYTHING (no, I'm not kidding!) and moved from Florida to Hawai'i with nothing but two suitcases each, our dogs and a whole lot of ambition. Since moving to Hawai'i and starting my photography business, I've honestly found my calling in helping couples to plan and document their most important day. Plus I'm a pretty fun third wheel!! Lol

After I left teaching but before I found wedding & elopement photography, I did a shit load of therapy and as a part of that 'reclaiming my identity' process, I remembered that I am an art lover at heart. As a teenager, I was the friend with the camera documenting every dumb decision we made. Thank God that was before Facebook & Instagram! lol As I was exploring photography more, I got a call from a friend a week before her wedding and she said her wedding videographer cancelled last minute and they were desperate to have their wedding filmed. I pieced together a wedding video kit, watched every YouTube video I could and showed up ready to create something. And on that wedding day, I fell in love with telling visual love stories.

Capturing love stories is what lights me up.
